I only log in occasionally so I’m sad I missed this. As Bluesky’s premier Gonzo expert I can say with absolute certainty that he does not have the self-regulation to maintain an account that is anything other than his own persona. He was also genuinely homeless and catless. So bizarre.
Gonzo Homless Glitch Artist is ranting to no-one on Twitter about his love of AI art and reposting Laura Loomer’s anti-trans bile.
Just a reminder that it was always a good thing to stop sending him money
Gonzo is an institution that must be remembered so we never repeat the mistakes of our past. I’ll see you all in another three months.

He was also the live-in caretaker of Green Jello headquarters in LA for a period of time so he would have a place to live and a gallery for his art. He trashed the space and set it on fire, so they had to kick him out.

Hellthread was such a sprawling nightmare it literally produced load bearing users which needs to become a cautionary case study for all future social media efforts.
The truth is weirder than that. He deleted immediately, but since he was a hellthread pillar, Paul had “blessed” his account to remain in a weird limbo (no posts, no profile pic etc) because it would have broken half of Bluesky if it vanished entirely
I always want him to do better and get help, but the guy sabotages literally every good thing that comes his way. I don’t know if he can ever truly be helped

Hahahaha can’t believe he’s still mad about this. He must not be raking in as much cash on Threads as he was here. I kept up with him there for a little while but it gets so repetitive after a while it’s not even funny anymore.

He claimed he was joking about that Facebook post where he said people here who support him were only good for their money but that is 100% true. He absolutely thinks of anyone who gives to him as an ATM.
That’s the problem, he’s even worse to anyone who helps him even once. Another artist on here was one of his biggest supporters, buying art from him and signal boosting him but they didn’t respond one time when he was asking for help and he went on a huge tirade about selfish and cruel they were
Anyway. The latest news is he got banned from a homeless shelter in Vegas then raised money on Threads to get a bus ticket back to Hollywood but whoops actually he misread the ticket and missed the bus and now he needs more money to buy another ticket.
The “punchline” to that story was “Get a job? I’m fucking Gonzo you CUNT” which really encapsulates the Gonzo experience in one line
I was looking through his YouTube account a while back and got a good picture of why he’s homeless. Half of his videos are of him destroying and setting apartments on fire and then he had a “stand up” where he rants about a woman giving him a room and expecting him to get a job
He definitely burnt out Green Jello again. He made a big proclamation about how they’re nazis and basically Skrewdriver. The Jello guys were joking about him doing it again on Facebook too.
Yeah he outright said several times he deserved more than other homeless people because he is an artist. Dude genuinely hates the homeless.
