There is no “right way” to stand up, and I think you should look up “laughtivism” - mockery and odd reactions have been some of the most effective ways people have stood up to authoritarianism.
I don’t think it’s ridiculous and childish. It’s important there are some showing outright defiance while others show it in their way. Everyone has their part to play their own way.

Just an FYI that climate doom is brewing on social media right now, and it all stems from the UN water bankruptcy report.
Multiple viral videos have convinced young people that the whole world will run out of freshwater over the next decade, and they are refusing to listen to experts about it.

I think the idea ads are driven by societal demand is not at all true.
The Super Bowl is a window into how much the U.S. economy has changed. I remember when it was mostly ads for cars, beer and stuff you’d find in the grocery store. Now it’s all AI, gambling, crypto (also gambling) and Ozempic.
