Until the Clock Strikes Midnight was a breath of fresh air. Cozy romantic fantasy with Cinderella vibes, dual POV, great chemistry, and an adorable epilogue. Low-stress tone but still fast-paced and emotionally thoughtful, with nuanced mental health representation. #queerbooks #diversebooksky
Freddie and Stella Got Hot is one of those rare books where the comps are accurate: Jenny Han meets Mean Girls, with a dash of Heathers energy. Chaotic, messy, and still well written. I read it in one sitting, and the ending is fantastic.

Leave It on the Track is a heartfelt YA about grief, anxiety, queer first love, and finding community through roller derby. The grief metaphor (a ball in a box that gets smaller over time) really stuck with me. Tender, funny, and hopeful without pretending healing is linear.

Just got a finished copy of A Steep and Savage Path by JJA Harwood. I haven’t read it yet, but it’s gothic vampire fantasy with an afterlife quest to reclaim a sister’s soul. Enemies-to-lovers + eerie vibes? I’m in.
This novella is a Grimm’s-style satiric fairy tale with teeth. Darkly funny, disturbing, and somehow packs a ridiculous amount of commentary on family expectations and obligation into 97 pages. Also: Lady Gastrell is the worst, and I loved her.

Finished An Arcane Inheritance by Kamilah Cole. Dark academia vibes, secret societies, forbidden magic, and a university built on exploitation. Starts a bit slow, then the back half goes bananas with a twist I *truly* didn’t see coming.
