Ooh. Nightmare!
Ooh. Nightmare!
We pretty much lead the Eucharist service until the Peace.
Delighted to be deacon and preaching at both our main Sunday services. We are so lucky as Readers that our incumbent makes sure we play as full a part in the services as we can.
As part of my Lent discipline Iβve made a small donation. I hope you manage to get it sorted!
Beauty on a gloomy day at Launde Abbey
Sounds fair!
Probably slid in, just as I did into my church this morning π§βΈοΈ
Itβs certainly helping me procrastinate π
Assisted at two Eucharist services during the morning at my home church β€οΈ. Then led an evening carol service at a neighbouring benefice currently in vacancy. Slight alterations in the service Iβd been given kept me on my toes! But a privilege to be there with a lovely (and grateful) congregation.
Thank you for sharing Sophie with us.
Iβve still got the album from when I saw it in the West End in 1971β¦.It has to be the original London cast, though, with David Essex.
Preached at both our main services this morning, at 8am and 10am. Never comes easily to me but seemed to go okay; love a bit of Godspell!
Assisted at 8am Eucharist, went home to have breakfast, back to watch the service at the war memorial, home, then back assisting at a beautiful evening Eucharist with the choir singing Faureβs Requiem. So blessed to be part of this worshiping community.
I feel so incredibly sad and lament deeply the fact that the church I serve continues to hurt and harm my siblings in Christ
This is a heart wrenching, beautiful, Jesus centred sermon that is well worth listening to

Pace yourself if you can, and remember to take your rest days π€
WOW. Posting also to the π§ͺ feed
Two Eucharist services where I was service deacon and assisting with an adult baptism at the first. The rector had broken her right wrist so everything was slightly different as we helped at the altar in the best way we could. Brilliant teamwork and joy after a really difficult week in the parish.
Or they would have had an email. At least one. But they still βknow nothing about itββ¦.
Follow me! Iβm really boring but donβt argue with people. I came away from that other place some months ago and only revisit briefly for Revd Richard Colesβ¦.
Something different for me today, visiting a friend in Alnwick so went to the early service at St Michaelβs before returning home. Lovely to be there.
Eucharist this morning and then evening prayer to round off a day of reflection on the Island of Iona. Lucky me.
2. And he forgot to give the little children a sticker each, so I had to whizz round doing that during a suitable gap in the proceedings. Great fun and blessed to be there.
Chaos level 1/10. Rector away on holiday and one of our assistant priests took over while I was service deacon. He just kept not quite being in the right place at the right time, which kept me on my toes.
Itβs definitely a female thing
I taught my daughter the βhard Paddington stareβ. Now weβre both teaching my granddaughter π
YES!
Yes!
Kit Kats for me (the 2 fingered ones - donβt want to appear too greedy), and crisps for any GF needs. And lots and lots of Maltesers (which I never share π).
We do the same. On the (very) occasional time we have the creed at our main Sunday service, it gladdens my heart β€οΈ
Well itβs a bit tight - we still need 66 more signatures by 8:45am on Saturday..surely we can do that?! petition.parliament.uk/petitions/71...
