Sure Aric Nesbitt would blame homelessness on mental illness. Not one thought that maybe Trump actions to destroy jobs/education, cut Medicaid, SNAP, CHIP, VA benefits, and make literally everything we need to live utterly unaffordable is the actual (solvable) problem.

I get it, but there are white people today who care deeply about the environment, land usage and preservation, and are not okay with what's happening now or what's happened in the past.
Data centers and AI are just cover for another land grab. Land and water are the only things that have EVER mattered. Never forget this country was built on stolen land (“free” real estate).
😢Bad things attract other bad things. Near the Detroit airport, our communities are fighting three evils: a water-sucking, air polluting AI data center, expanding a toxic waste facility to take radioactive waste, and an ICE concentration camp.
Amazon warehouses are dotting the landscape too. 🤬

Communities who allowed big data centers regret their decision because they are resource hogs at the expense of locals. Let’s not make that mistake.

What should have been a serious local meeting became another spectacle of political bullying.
John James did not bring leadership. He brought the same grievance politics and performative chaos that has infected too much of our politics and government.
But according to people at the meeting, the pledge was recited and James was explicitly called to the podium to speak.
The toxic atmosphere was so bad that two highly qualified candidates reportedly dropped out during voting because of the abuse coming from the crowd.
Witnesses say he snarled at board members, “I have a long memory and I won’t soon forget the cowards I see in front of my face tonight,” before leaving and winking at far right supporters on his way out.
Afterward,James posted lies claiming the crowd refused to say the Pledge & that he was silenced.
