Also, another thing I did was when I found someone who was a prominent Covid poster like @violetblue.bsky.social, (from New Zealand!) Iβd search who they were following for more Covid-aware folks to follow.

Itβs how I built up my Covid-aware community that is way larger than at the other place, and itβs been a lifeline for me as all my IRL friends went back to normal and abandoned me. I also follow art, nature, climate science feeds I pop into once in awhile and where I discovered other folks to follow
When you find a feed of interest in # feed search, use the pin icon at the top corner to pin it to your feeds.
Access the feeds quickly by hitting the # icon at top right corner (on mobile). Scroll a feed and follow individuals you like on that feed for them to show up in your timeline every day.
You can find like-minded folks by searching terms ex. sci-fi, even in # Feeds section in menu, scroll down to search bar. Hereβs a few to check out & follow to build community:

I wouldnβt buy expired N95/FFP3 masks unless I had no choice, but hereβs info to reassure anyone who does have masks expiring soon or already expired according to date on the box, theyβre not necessarily expired. N95s (prob FFP3s too) are effective for up to 10 years. Hope you find your masks tho!
Yet another reason to never buy Americanπ
Absolutely! I donβt go anywhere without my N95, especially crowded indoor events. And I have a cute black lace overlay and gold chain to dress it up for concerts π€π·

*Exactly.*
But don't worry everyone. Covid is gone. But it's still here and extremely dangerous, but it's gone you don't have to worry about it. It's still here but not as bad. It's really dangerous but it's gone don't worry
(idk about now but) similarly you used to be able to look to military planning to see climate change is real

I am routinely struck silent by the fact that we can stop HIV in its tracks, literally zero transmission, and as a society we just choose not to.
Avian Influenza vaccine research is continuing in various countries around the world. A new trial for vaccinating birds has begun in the UK, in the hopes of producing a vaccine that may better control the spread of H5N1.

A Play In Three Acts
Me when there's an explosion of neurological disorders in the next decade or so and everyone told us COVID was no big deal.
iβve had ME/CFS for about 20 years.
a huge part of why i am so vocal about protecting yourself from #covid is because i, too, have felt like an observer on my own life.
iβm almost 40 and have barely done any of the things iβd really like to. iβve been too busy struggling to survive.
and that was well before the ongoing #SARS-CoV-2 pandemic started. and thatβs why i have been so adamant in protecting myself from covid this whole time.
i donβt want things to get EVEN WORSE.
We canβt say it enough. I think most people donβt know that every Covid infection damages which is why they walk around thinking Covid is just a cold now since they recover βjust fineβ. We have to keep telling them even if most choose to ignore it. Itβs worth it for those whoβll choose to mask again
You can reduce your chances of
-Being sick on vacation (sucks!!)
-Being sick after vacation (bummer!!)
-Missing work when you intended to be back, because you're sick (yikes!!)
-Spreading sickness to people on your flights like babies or disabled folks who can't mask or get vaccinated (solidarity!!)
Snow drops growing next to the house wall.
Eheheh finally there is hope!
We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art, the art of words.

China leads the world in solar deployment. Even parking lots and rooftops are being turned into solar power plants β generating electricity while using space thatβs already paved.
China also exceeded its 2030 wind + solar capacity target (1.2 TW) in 2024 β about six years early. #Bettrification
Nope, the way we fight back is by taxing the wealthy and implementing UBI for the rest of us.
We're sick and tired of begging for scraps and fighting for our lives while every single elected official is doing just fine. Go tax the wealthy and quit telling us to submit to the system they built.
We changed BIG when the consequences were a lot LESS than what weβre facing from the #ClimateCrisis. Donβt let anyone tell you we CANβT change.
