One of my violin students accused me of lying when they brought up a movie they’d just seen and I told them I’d watched it on VHS… Not that they don’t think I’m super old, just that that tech is essentially prehistoric.

So many are here for fun, obscure takes… but Alec Guinness as Ben Kenobi has been the favorite eye-roller of boomers for literally 50 years and it is damned near universal to almost every single human Gen X and later.

I literally build robots and have never once used AI for anything - the only place it rears its stupid head is in my search results, where it is frequently wrong. Easy to avoid unless you’re just the most intellectually incurious person on Earth (who also hates artists and wants the laziest thing.)
