He joined an outfit called Minas Tirith and left Aberdeen. We got back in touch sometime after the re release of the albums he was on. By that time he was back in Scotland. He has joined another band in the Glasgow area.

We’re sorry that we couldn’t bow out as intended, but we have to be realistic.

However, with every bit of good news comes something bad. We’ve decided that we’re ’retiring’ as a live outfit. We looked at touring, but we just couldn’t make the sums add up. Add in the costs of re-equipping, a drummer and bringing Niall back from Cambodia and it wasn’t to be.
We’ve decided that we’ll work together on another album. No title or release date as yet, but we’ve abandoned most of the material from The Messenger sessions in favour of working afresh. Expect it to be rockier, but also another ‘progression’.
From 2011. A return to the Atlantis theme of 1984’s The Sentinel… I think. Impressive artwork and the music’s pretty good too!
