It is legally impossible to deport citizens. This is not deportation. Removing citizens to foreign prisons, knowing to a certainty that they will be subjected to treatment that violates the U.S. constitution, doesn’t deserve any label that connotes legal legitimacy.
I know you aren't going to want to hear this but the reason the system can deport Mahmoud Khalil and send Kilmar Abrego Garcia to El Salvador is that for years we've been executing factually innocent people like Marcellus Williams and sending legally innocent people to places like Riker's Island.
I was recently asked if I needed to update anything from this triage list I proposed two weeks after the election for how to best protect non-citizens through what we knew was coming. Honestly, not really. It's all been pretty much as expected, if a little faster.

I’ve spent about a few hours browsing Netflix and you can’t convince me they are not purposely making “white noise” content that has zero conscious entertainment value but successfully entertains your subconscious while you do something else.
OK, non-finance people: crash course in bonds. Bond prices and yields moving opposite directions. Yields on US govt bonds [“treasuries”] are surging (ie the prices are falling). Prices are falling because people are selling treasuries at a massive clip.
