This space is dedicated to mental health care and professional education.
I help with recovery after crisis and fraud โ and on supporting clinicians to prevent secondary harm when working in complex, high-impact situations.
The goal here is clarity, ethics, and care โ not urgency or blame.
Welcome.
Individual people are at a disadvantage against corporations' power and wealth, this gives me hope though. We the people still have power when we work together like this! @inequalitymedia.bsky.social @rbreich.bsky.social

Financial fraud/scams are a massive wealth transfer out of the United States. Billions of dollars. I talk a lot about the emotional impact of a scam and how we must stop victim blaming for the sake of individual people, AND, this is another good reason to stop it for the good of our entire country.
Monica Torres has several articles to help us understand fraud/scams, I was happy to help with this one. Please stop victim-blaming when this happens, there is a lot to understand about the combination of psychological and technical weapons being used. www.huffpost.com/entry/french...
I created training to help with this. I'll add the link here and if you are wondering why I say you need extra training for this please reach out to me, I would love to share more with you! And, here's a link to training: lifepaths-school-7a8b.thinkific.com/courses/psyc...
Mental health colleagues: there's a crisis in our field, we are not prepared to help people who have experienced financial fraud (a scam). Sure, it is trauma and many of us have expertise and training in trauma. With this though, there is more to know - mainly to avoid unintentional victim-blaming.
My first post, after months being here on BlueSky! A big part of my work is helping people after fraud (a scam) has happened to them. If this has happened to you and you are struggling with the emotional aftermath, my videos can help: www.youtube.com/@fraudpsycho...
