Important to lead with the headline that Arsenal are the ‘villains of the title race’ and would be ‘unpopular champions’ as they go up against the team charged with 115+ counts of cheating to gain an unfair competitive advantage over the other premier league teams.

Someone put the kettle on. I’d love a cup of Fabian Hurzeler’s tears.

Arsenal need to lean into these "boring"/"time-wasting"/"Set Piece FC" accusations. Let the wider world sneer. Create a siege mentality. Dig in. Be mean. For around two decades they were accused of being too soft, now they are apparently the opposite. Ride the hate-wave.

Massive appreciation for Havertz today.

His sub made a massive difference towards Arsenal's ability to grab a foothold in this match.

This Hurzeler headloss is going to feed my family for generations. He’s absolutely pissed his pants and revealed himself for the weasel he really is.

Oddly mixed feelings after that. We won the game, and advanced in the title race ... but we didn't do it in a way that pleased Fabian Hürzeler. I keep asking myself if it was worth it.

Suspect they could go all night if you let them

My main take away from all of this attention, is we are clearly huge.

We’re obsessed with Arsenal and apparently everyone else is too 😘

By far the greatest team, the world has ever seen 😇

Let it be known that Sir Iwobi of Hale End sealed St. Totteringham's Day on the First of March, in the Year of Our Lord 2026, the earliest this blessed day has been celebrated in the Premier League, and the Greatness of Arsenal covers the land, even beyond North London, which remains Red.

I can’t keep doing this. Gifting goals to the opposition every week. I can’t.

Brexit made us poorer and it’s getting worse Economists disagree on the detail but it’s clear that barrier-free trade would be a big boost

📝 "The latest (research), says that GDP per head, the best measure of prosperity, is 6 to 8 per cent lower than it would have been had Brexit not happened. That’s around £3,000 for each of us."

📉 Brexit is worsening the cost of living crisis for us all.

Mohamed Salah's decision to talk to reporters was premeditated.

Salah’s sense of hurt and dissatisfaction is understandable. His pride has been severely dented.

But that does not excuse his decision to go nuclear.

My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’

Early kick off might help, less time for atmosphere to build. Opportunity to get in there early, get the job done and get out

Arsenal are down their two starting CBs, now a third CB, and conceded only .34 xG. Either it's devil magic or Arteta is just a ridiculously good coach.

We just had them at arms lengths the whole time. Apart for the one that hit the bar I can’t really think of anything truly dangerous they produced

A nice low key victory imo

Maybe it’s just me, but that never felt that nervy to me. We should’ve been 2-0 earlier than we were but Brentford never felt a threat even with a patchwork defence for Arsenal

Eze and Saka made a big difference, Merino and White the stars of the night for me

Injuries have to stop soon right? 🤦‍♂️

03.12.2025 21:25 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

I know we are pretty traumatised but I can’t see that Rice treatment being a full blown injury

A proper calf strain would mean they would never let him walk off without support

Cramp more likely imo

No Thiago for Brentford feels huge. Schade and Outtarro up front feels like they are set up for counters galore
