I saw her face and was like “at least her facial features are distinct so we can tell the difference between the three white women in white and blue suits” and then I saw her MVP animation and went “Oh…“ Like… they did not need to do all that.
They are MILES apart and yet it’s almost like Buck is right next to him helping him. Buck isn’t even a father, all of his advice stems from knowing Chris. He’s been helping co-parent Chris through the phone while also being someone Eddie can confide and trust in.
With Buck, he asks for advice because he knows Buck understands what he’s going through. He takes Buck’s advice seriously, he puts in action the advice HIMSELF (not relying on someone else to do it for him), and it works.
The difference between Buck and all of the women Eddie’s been with is he trusts Buck unconditionally. He leans on him when he needs help, he tells him about his problems and knows that Buck cares. When it came to Chris, he didn’t ask these women for advice, he basically treated them as babysitters.
Eddie’s whole thing is he’s been looking for a mother for his son but never a partner. Buck has been there for Chris from the moment he met the kid. He’s helped him, he’s taken care of him when Eddie couldn’t. Eddie even trusted Buck to talk to him during the Shannonganger situation.
Watched tonight’s episode of 9-1-1 and I haven’t seen anyone say it, but they’re totally setting up Buddie and my evidence isn’t even the Maddie-Buck talk, but the fact that Buck has given Eddie advice on Chris multiple times and every time it’s worked successfully for Eddie. 🧵#911onABC #Buddie

Another high scoring game on offense where no turnovers occurred on either side.
Dominant game all around today, both on offense and defense. 30+ points, incredible touchdown plays, and only allowed 7 points that they got on the very first drive of the game. Love this team, excited for what’s next.
