Wisconsin voters: The new postmark rule does not change your ballot deadline. Absentee voting remains the same as always in Wisconsin. Only voter registration by mail is impacted.

In Wisconsin, ballots have always been required to be received by 8pm on Election Day.

The recent changes to the way USPS defines a postmark will only impact voter registration by mail.
