The Trinity Church, built in 1877 is reflected on the newer Hancock Tower (completed in 1976). Quite the juxtaposition nearly a century apart. A rather stark contrast in architectural styles!
Reflections of the old as seen on the new.
The previous Hancock building (1947-now known as the Berkeley Building) is reflected on the sides of the newer, taller version.

If I keep digging through old photos, I occasionally come across a gem like this one. Back in the days when I meandered the beaches near sunset.
It really helps with reflections to have the flat, sandy stretches that keep that coating of water at low tide.

Low tide leaves enough water on the sand to reflect the light shining through a hole in the clouds near sunset. There's a lighthouse silhouetted halfway out on the jetty. A hint of pink in the clouds indicates that the sun is likely close to setting. Along the jetty and beyond there are breaking waves.
