This is a fantastic resource to bookmark. It collates all of the different initiatives that are keeping track of the impacts of the GOP wrecking ball. The destruction is so fast and so extensive that it's hard for us all to keep track and not feel overwhelmed. This does that heavy lifting for us.
Can academics (or others) volunteer to help in any way? If dingdongs are reducing people power to cripple progress I'm happy to volunteer to help in any way! I'm sure many others are too.
It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.
Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

This morning, the US National Science Foundation fired 168 employees, approximately 10% of its workforce, for no cause other than they were the agency's most recent hires. 🧪

Termination letters to employees in my office stated that termination was due to poor performance, despite all of these employees having excellent performance reviews. At least a couple supervisors tried to log into the performance system to enter ad hoc performance reviews for employees
We have been careful to avoid using the word coup, but it’s time to call it what it is—this is a coup. Trump signed an executive order granting only the attorney general or the president the authority to interpret laws executed by the executive branch.
