Kudos to Suahautica for that _brief_ explanation. :D

On the surface, the 'previous three reviews' would seem like a reduction in bureaucracy and focus on the last, say, 18-24 months of one's employment. That's valid.

When, as the Alt NPS author states, the most recent ones contain invalid data? Then that 'previous 3 reviews' is a garbage approach.

How much of ‘news’ outlets (I.e. Fox) is the embodiment of willful ignorance?
In these early phases of The Information Age, with such ease of access to factual information. . . why even knowingly persist in peddling fiction?
Is reality truly that difficult to face?

Aaaagreed: gives false hope.

Just learned of Poly’ a couple weeks ago.

Immediately thought ‘let’s imagine, briefly, how this could play out if not hard checked -now-‘ 🧐

In Magic 8-Ball terms:

They don’t: they’re fear-based.

This does not excuse their behavior and ineptitude.

Agreed!

If this is such a ‘sensitive’ area, send those yahoos -there-.
(for the record, that area is already highly policed by Border Patrol, so the T-administration clearly has its head in the sand)

On paper, it sounds delicious. . despite my own aversion to egg-dishes.

What, in particular, was so offputting?

Career pivoting requires some prerequisite coursework in order to even apply for specific training programs.

Some coursework is derivative & redundant.

Having a professor tell me 'this is graduate-level analytics'?
*priceless*
I take great pride in my analytical skills, indeed.

The amount of fearmongering from conservatives, on this wealth tax, across platforms, is indeed absurd and disturbing.
Sooo many are claiming ‘slippery slope’: that soon it’ll change to ‘over $500k’ and then ‘over $300k’, etc.

The push for these, yet have we—collectively—actually -wanted- these?

I don’t think so: I think it’s being pushed on us, serving its own ends.

With body dysmorphia, it is all-too-easy to buy into GLP-1s as a 'quick fix'.

Struggling with one's own mass is valid & real: we live in a phase of great food abundance, and great food options.

It means we have to self-educate on how to self-manage, or face long-term, permanent consequences.

When we literally buy into culture of immediacy, we do so will willful ignorance: glad to avoid thinking about the consequences, because we get what we want NOW.

We have one body, capable of many things, and it has limits. Denying it's complicated fragility only leads to drastic consequences.

Suffice to say, that there remain 'no shortcuts' in life.

Many of the side-effects (and the dependency) are problematic, both short- and long-term (e.g. loss of bone density).

In a culture of immediacy, GLP-1s are attractive for the short-term 'gains' (no inverse pun intended).

It is established how quickly mass re-accumulates post-abandoning GLP-1 meds (most folk don't sustain diet & exercise practices in concert). Thus, folk need to 'stick' (no pun intended) with the medications in order to stave off the mass.

No longitudinal studies have been done on these meds.

Vox, the New York Post, and a small handful of other outlets have been recently publishing pieces on the side-effects of using GLP-1 medications.
The symptoms are problematic and manifold, as they promote additional cosmetic procedures that are (generally) unnecessary.
