The divide between the headlines and the comments on these trash takes is astounding. No wonder people believe in wild conspiracies. How can you trust media coverage when it doesn't represent your experience?
The fact that CNN, NYT, Fox, Post have all been united in trying to paint Luigi Mangione as a privileged, evil criminal on par with school shooters despite all the comments begging them to cover the casualties of the healthcare system just shows how mainstream media is just one corporate mouthpiece
