OHMSS!
Thanks! Speaking of, I had a chance to read a sneak peek of @ryannorth.caβs first issue of Flash with @gavinguidry.bsky.social Donβt miss it, people! Starting in Flash #31. @gavinguidry.bsky.social
LOVE this! Still keeps the pureness of the original design, but with just enough tweaks to feel modern, but not enough to feel overdone or busy!
Duty called! But hopefully I'll catch you next time!
Your editing is always on point! Like Bond against Vargas!
Very excited to hear this as I missed out talking with @philnobilejr.bsky.social ! #JamesBond
COMING SATURDAY: The 007 Files podcast talks to Phil Nobile Jr. (who had a prescient post in 2017 about the future of the Bond franchise).
COMING SATURDAY: The 007 Files returns for a new season with an episode about what may occur with Amazon's first Bond film.
Ooooooo. Yeah. I saw that on dvd and when it ended... π¬
Agreed π―. But they do publish LD and SNW comics so maybe it's not a dire sign?
Hey, @chrisclow.bsky.social , probably not a good sign for @terrymatalas.bsky.social to do #StarTrekLegacy any time soon, huh? π
I was more apologetic to the friends I took with me to Prometheus. I've come around a bit on it now.
Today we mourn the passing of Rev. Jesse Jackson, a giant of the civil rights movement who never stopped demanding that America live up to its promise.β¨β¨
He marched, he ran, he organized and he preached justice without apology.β¨β¨May we honor him not just in words, but in struggle.
I listen to Jimmy Olsen's Blues almost weekly, but the rest of their catalogue not so much.

Regarding Pickford, "whose panic is used to sell the heroism of the star cadets; itβs no longer credible that she hasnβt been sent home at this point", I would state that not every cadet has the fortitude of Peter Preston. Maybe this isn't for her, but this could be the thing that gives her resolve.

Black History Is Star Trek ππΏ
Charles Washburn was one of the first Black second assistant directors in Hollywood, having apprenticed for the job in Star Trekβs second season before taking on the second assistant director role fully in its third.

Donald Trump must fire Kristi Noem immediately.
Or Democrats will initiate impeachment proceedings against her in the House.
We can do this the easy way or the hard way.
History is watching. And it never forgets.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King taught us to challenge the way things are, to imagine what they could be, and to fight for a better tomorrow. A huge thanks to Edwin Galmon for bringing that sentiment to life in this new original artwork.
66 You may be 38 years old, as I happen to be. And one day, some great opportunity stands before you and calls you to stand up for some great principle, some great issue, some great cause. And you refuse to do it because you are afraid.... You refuse to do it because you want to live longer.... You're afraid that you will lose your job, or you are afraid that you will be criticized or that you will lose your popularity, or you're afraid that somebody will stab you, or shoot at you or bomb your house; so you refuse to take the stand. Well, you may go on and live until you are 90, but you're just as dead at 38 as you would be at 90. And the cessation of breathing in your life is but the belated announcement of an earlier death of the spirit. Martin Luther King Jr.
The right is very good at gaslighting. Claiming they're the number one news source and at the same time the "liberal media" controls everything.
Muting a Black woman to claim the vote was unanimous is so incredibly on the nose
Comic book panel from Fantastic Four #21, December 1963. The Hate-Monger is on stage saying, "We must drive all the foreigners back where they came from! We must show no mercy to those we hate!" A word balloon from off panel has Sue Storm saying, "Reed, it's unbelievable! He seem to have the crowd in a trance! They β they're actually agreeing with his unAmerican sentiments." In case you missed last night's presidential address, I offer a snapshot.
Well, SOMEONE's pants are on fire...
Going live on Sunday! Had an absolute blast putting this together
Don't let a loathsome person rob you of your empathy.
Regardless of your tribe, you recognize what virtue looks like, and the abject lack of it.
