In fact, my experience with fanfics is that most of them are so well written they could easily be best sellers
Heated rivalry was, after all, a stucky fic first. Ask anyone used to reading fanfics, we can all clock the best used tropes the second we see them lol

I really love how heated rivalry has people talking about the story the same way I see fandoms describing their favorite fanfics
Bc usually the majority of the public thinks of fanfics like badly written silly stories, and yes some of it is, but not all of it
