My Toyota pickup is 34 years old.

They’re called Red Sprites — massive electrical discharges that appear 30–50 miles above storms near the edge of space.

2/ Logging great swaths of timber is NOT forest management. It's profit-based. They like to HIDE the clear-cuts by leaving bands of uncut trees next to roadsides.

It's a stain on our nation which is ALL made of immigrants with the exception of the Native Americans.
And now they want to use Native American land to build detention centers (concentration camps). Nothing good would come of that either.
If you want to know where I stand I don't even think the Department of Homeland Security should have been created.
It was another level of bureaucracy brought in over agencies that were already handling the job of security, they just needed more funding.
DHS complicated more than it helped.
Both orgs have changed substantially.
They used to require more training.
They used to have higher recruiting standards.
They used to have different mandates.
They used to follow policy (mostly).
They've never been close to perfect, but even so, what we have now is different from two years ago.
I'm filling in backstory for those who were unaware of these orgs before 2025.
Many people confuse ICE and CBP (not surprising, there's no longer much distinction) and many never heard of either until they started using more aggressive tactics (something Bongino appears to be encouraging).
Customs and Border Patrol (CBP which many people confuse with ICE because both are under Homeland Security) had a far better reputation in the 1990s.
ICE was established in 2003 as a response to the Sept. 11th attack on the World Trade Center. Their mandate was different then.
Logos can be spray-painted, but that's not the problem.
Vehicles SHOULD be ID'ed, like police cars.
If ICE/CBP had conducted themselves like professionals, honored DHS policy on Use of Force, and taken only "the worst of the worst" no one would be trying to attack them.

Meet Sunny Naqvi.
A lifelong U.S. Citizen from Illinois, Naqvi was returning home from a business trip with 5 other people, who were all in the country legally. She was then detained by immigration officials at O’Hare Airport for 30 hours before being transferred to an ICE detention facility in WI.
Trump and his supporters lied about 20 million #migrants coming in during Biden's term.
The real number is ~15 million spread over almost 50 years. Some of them came here 30 or 40 years ago as young children and have never known any other home.
Many don't even have a single traffic violation.
