A brightly coloured nintendo gameboy advance in yellow, blue and magenta. On its screen is the opening scene of the game super mario world, aka super mario advance 2.
Modded a Gameboy Advance \o/ nothing super fancy just a Highspeedo ISP (brighter) screen and a prettier shell than the slightly grey nintendo purple. Still nice to play one of my old favourites again!

A 3D model model of a spaceship. The spaceships design is extremely front heavy with a large central cannon built around a spherical core. Further back is a blocky habitation section joining to a large, flat, cylindrical hanger area. Behind the hangers sit six engines arranged in a vertical 2x3 pattern.
Been 3D doodling spaceships lately, trying to incorporate a large sphere as a central point of the design. Took a few trys but I think I'm happy with this one. #Blender #3D

Been learning a bit of Wolvenkit to get into #Cyberpunk2077 modding, never really modded games before but so far it seems interesting, still working out how to add my own textures but just having a thing appear in the game at all feels like progress.
Hell of a collection, Random thing, to check the back red/white/yellow connector. If its an all-in-one scart adapter then its normal, if it has 3 seperate ports then you got a studio grade sound card in there from before sony had any lower end console specific cards to put in there.

A pumpkin carved to resemble the Balor, a mech composed of nanites and often described as being like 'angry water'. The design resembles an evil looking medival helmet with a single glowing eye in the middle surrounded by an inverted and pointed cross.
Pumpkin carving time! Thought a the Balor from #Lancer by #MassifPress would make a fantastic carving design so I just went for it. Makes me wish I had a better camera though as the foreshortening hides some small details on the sides.
In a dimly lit childs bedroom a red glow eminates from under the bed as a pair of clawed red hands emerge to scrape at the carpet and bedside table.
Work decided to give me my soul back for a couple of hours so I decided to use the break from my 3D job to do some quick 3D. The #Blender52 theme was 'Nightmare' honestly wasn't feeling super inspired but its good to try and keep up the habbit.

A black and white comic-style illustration depicts a series of panels. The top panels show a large, armoured mech. The mech is positioned in a dynamic stance, and firing an extremely large shoulder mounted weapon. The projectile is depicted as a very long, thin beam, shown with radiating lines to suggest energy or force. The middle panel shows a different robot, receiving the impact and mitigating it by creating a portal in front of itself through which the massive projectile is re-directed. The bottom panel shows a massive abstract triangular being with many eyes reading a newspaper called the “All Times”, a small portal can be seen opening at the bottom of the panel, hidden from the abstract figure by the newspaper it is reading. The final panel shows the re-directed projectile emerging from the portal and blowing a hole in the abstract beings newspaper causing it some surprise and annoyance.
This is what happens every time you block and attack with true black aegis. Credit due to both the original rulebook artist and the person who drew the original barbaross art (Which I could not find again to properly credit), both of which I traced.

This weeks project is automating a niche texturing workflow that should hopefully save time for a few people. Its a geometry setup that bakes lighting into UV maps using any gradient texture allowing for quick low poly workflows.

A lance formed from a tattoo needle radiating green swirls of caligraphy magic and adorned with a purple feather and copper fixtures.
So right after I make an ink pen sword the #Blender52 theme turns out to be 'Ink' At least I get to continue with a fun theme of magical caligraphy weapons. This time a friend suggested I base it on a tattoo needle which ended up turning into a lance.

There's a world lizard day!? How long have I been missing out?
Depicted on a gentle purple background is a sword, the blade is formed from the nib of a fountain pen and the handle from the pens body and lid; the clip forms a guard for the wielders hand. The sword is adorned with a vibrant red feather attatched to its pommel, and spiraling streaks of glowing caligraphy magic flow from its blade.
Two #Blender52 in one week! this was actually my idea for a previous missed week that I just couldn't let go of. The prompt was weapon and 'The pen is mightier than the sword' popped into my head so I made a sword based on a fountain pen that casts caligraphy magic.

Choanoflagellates and stantons depicted both free-floating and more accurately clustered around and anchored to small grains of material.

I actually needed this rn.
