And no court decision—no matter how cruel—will win back the friendships lost to hate, or rescue those who chose the wrong side of history from the consequences of that choice.

muscovite (a mineral) has a cleavage (ha) that allows it to split into thin somewhat transparent sheets. its thermal resistance is high so worked great for oven windows. it was used for cheap windows in russia through history too (its where the name comes from! moscow/moskva)
