Having spent the past 2.5 years homeless and 2 years before that traveling in isolation, I can tell you: the only thing I actually care about any more is people, and the fact that I never have anyone to talk to on any level is what makes me most often suicidal

I do worry that so much active and meme-ified mocking keeps bluesky from being an interactive, conversational experience. People should not be afraid to talk to each other for fear of mockery

Also, if one’s greatest problem is that “too many people are talking me”, that’s a problem I would love

One reason art is so terrible these days is that fan culture has gotten so insane. Codependent sycophants insist on attacking me personally every time I state a preference against an artist, as though disliking someone’s favorite artist means I dislike them. So nobody ever pushes back on bad art.

I love Tori Amos and PJ Harvey. I honestly can’t think of a worse musician than Sofia Isella. I’m not being hyperbolic. She is unfathomably terrible and nowhere close to the musicians you mentioned
