Hard to believe it’s 35 years since the deregulation of the TV listings
A leather booted leg of Red Sonja kicks through a wooden door, splintering the fucker all to hell. She self-narrates: "I'm in a MOOD."
Photo of Blu-ray Doctor Who The Collection - Season 20 (standard packaging). The cover image is Peter Davison as The Doctor. He is looking forwards, with a crystal in his hands. Below him is an assortment of villains from the seasons, including: Omega, a Dalek, a Cyberman, and The Master.
@thecyberdevil.bsky.social thanks for the tip/advice of the S20 disc errors. I emailed the BBC support you provided details of. I've received replacement discs/copy of the Standard Edition today. (Now then, I need to ensure when I swap the discs into the LE case that I don't mix them up!)
I reported mine, and received a replacement copy/discs today.
Ebay listing saying a Doctor Who dvd is signed by William Hartnell
Wow, what a bargain found on Ebay, Doctor Who dvds signed by William Hartnell even tho he died in 1975 and the Dvds didn't release until 2006
My replacement copy arrived today, too. Nice to know I'm not alone.

Old b/w illustration (etching?) of Gregory VII in papal robes and tiara
Ah! 9 March – so, obviously, it’ll be the 952nd anniversary of Pope Gregory VII excommunicating married priests, after which everything went swimmingly for the Catholic Church... 🧵
Had a walk along the prom & met some hells angels.
The Doctor (Tom Baker) and Davros (Michael Wisher) – the wizened, half-machine creator of the Daleks – talk, struggling philosophically
Sarah Jane, the Doctor and Harry debate whether to destroy the Daleks at their creation
Genesis of the Daleks omnibus illustration – Davros, the Doctor, hooded figures through barbed wire and the shadow of the Daleks looming over all
A Dalek looms over the battlefield, a tank-like war machine in its natural habitat. They grow up so quickly.
OTD 1975: #DoctorWho Genesis of the Daleks
Brilliant direction, compelling speeches, thrilling score, one of TV’s most electrifying moments as the Doctor and Davros debate…
One of *two* Doctor Who stories premiering OTD often voted best of all
Thank you. That’s what I wanted to know.

“People were telling me, ‘Oh, no one wants to read about racism.’ And I thought – that’s interesting. You haven’t read it. You don’t know what it is. You’re already making assumptions.”
