I had a thought today about AI art. I like art because of its connection to the artist. When I see/hear amazing art I become obsessed with the artist. AI gen art removes that connection.
What they've reduced art to is content generation for clicks, not appreciation and inspiration

For the past few weeks I started getting into software development for the gametank homebrew 8-bit console. I wanted to make a paddle game so I built a paddle using an arduino as a test and it worked! Now I'm building a new prototype using an ADC and hope to have it assembled in a couple days

I was doing some light electronics research using chatGPT. We were using water pumps/pipes as a metaphor for audio amplifiers and speakers. It was going really well until ChatGPT volunteered to sketch a diagram and this is what it sent me LOLOL! Yeah, that sure clears things up 😭

I recently received pcbs that I designed. This is a first for me. So I was super happy when I populated the board with components and everything just worked. My steam deck rumble motor mod pcb is a success!
