I went out to photograph wild birds for the first time in a while. I captured photos of the “AKAHARA” that can only be seen at this time of year. It was a delightful encounter.

I never realized we have so many common chaffinch here till I figured out their call! I love roaming around with the Merlin app trying to figure out which birds live nearby!

It's bad enough that AI garbage is invading our art spaces, but every so often I find it needling its way into music playlists, where something feels a bit off and I check, & it's an AI song.

It is violating. I want art and music by human beings, not machines. I can't even trust new music anymore.

This was a fun one to draw

Today I added a teaspoon of Nutella and a teaspoon of Biscoff and it was so delicious. The Inka has a nice light bitterness to it and the Biscoff and Nutella pair so well with it.

I have discovered a new hot drink that I love. I can't drink coffee because it makes me too jittery. So I've started making Inka (which is a wheat, barley and chicory drink) in hot oat milk with Biscoff cookie spread and it tastes like a gingerbread latte!
