my ancestors came to america in a time when there was no immigration control (for europeans at least). It’s not a utopian fantasy, it’s just how we used to do it.

^immigration control doesn’t address any of those things, its only ethnic cleansing. the problems you list are not problems caused by the presence of certain ethnicities.
