There are two photos. When you are on Getty, look below the image you are viewing and you will see, "See Related Images", and the second photo appears with slightly different lighting effect. It could be the flash(es), overheads, etc. But they're back to back. Your reference is dimmer.
Have they? I went through the photos, and they all look about the same to me. General lighting and hand positioning can change it a bit, but it's quite obvious that appears to be infusion site bruising. The only question is how much makeup he's wearing or if he's jaundice. Oompa-Wow!
