that's basically why I don't consider myself christian despite being (kinda) raised as one. I can somewhat see how it is to those who do that but at some point it just started to feel like way too much work to try to mentally add (a version of) god to something where I didn't feel it was needed

and I'm not religious but I have noticed that I'd occasionally could use religious language to talk about some concepts that can't really be described in concrete sense.
I think (non-religious) art often works for similar purpose
