How nice to be told by Keir Starmer that my mother who delivered babies, as a midwife, worked nights and damaged her back lifting patients as a nurse, was a pillar of her community as a health visitor has caused βincalculable damageβ to the UK !
Migration is not the problem.
The two issues that need to be sorted out, but they won't get a mention, are:
Brexit.
Proper taxation of the rich, individuals and Companies.
βLow-skilled workerβ is just code for βlow-paid, easily exploited.β
Itβs not about skill β itβs about power.
And itβs dehumanising. These are people.
People who keep this country running while being treated as disposable.
They deserve respect, rights, and recognition.
2025: Keir Starmer suggests that pressure on housing and public services is because of migrants
2020: Keir Starmer, "Poor housing, poor public services are not the fault of the migrants, they're political failure"
Never have been. Never will be
Keep speaking out!

A national disgrace while our pensioners freeze and starve.
STATE HOOD IS NOT A GIFT FROM A NEIGHBOUR, Says Keir Starmer. If thatβs the case then why does Scotlands Neighbour legislate in a manner to prevent Scotland from expressing its self determination. (PLEASE SHARE THIS)

Independence = full control over healthcare decisions. If we want a fully funded, effective NHS, independence isnβt just a political goal β itβs a necessity. π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ
Final Thoughts β Healthcare & Independence
Scotlandβs NHS is limited by Westminsterβs:
π» Budget constraints
π» Immigration policies
π» Research funding cuts
π» Drug pricing controls
π° Independence = negotiating drug prices based on Scotlandβs needs, not UK-wide decisions.
Scotland Doesnβt Control Its Own Drug Prices
Many donβt realise this, but the UK government negotiates drug prices on a national level, meaning Scotland has little say in how much we pay for medicines.
π Westminster budget cuts could lead to higher drug costs or shortages in Scotland.
If Ireland, Norway, and Denmark can fund universal healthcare, why canβt Scotland?
The facts:
β
Scotland contributes billions to the UK but doesnβt control how itβs spent.
β
Independence = control over tax revenue to invest in healthcare.
β
Small independent nations successfully run healthcare systems β so why not Scotland?
Can Scotland Afford the NHS After Independence? YES.
One of the biggest myths is that Scotland couldnβt afford its NHS
Solution? Independence = Scotland controls its own immigration policies.
Should Scotland be able to recruit its own NHS staff without Westminster interference?
π« UK immigration rules make it harder to bring in qualified healthcare workers.
π©ββοΈ Scotland needs more international healthcare professionals, but Westminster sets the rules.
Scotlandβs NHS Staff Crisis β Westminsterβs Immigration Policies Are Hurting Us
Scotland has a shortage of NHS staff, yet we donβt control our own immigration policies.
If Scotland had full control over research funding, we could prioritise womenβs health instead of suffering from Westminsterβs cuts.
Womenβs Healthcare Impact Scotland
Reports show UK universities are cutting research funding, including womenβs health studies. Since Scotland relies on UK-wide funding for medical research, this affects our ability to advance healthcare for women.
If the UK gov cuts NHS spending in England, Scotlandβs budget is cut too.
What this means:
π° Less funding, even if Scotland wants to invest more
π No real financial autonomy over healthcare
The NHS is Devolved⦠But Westminster Still Holds the Purse Strings
The Barnett Formula means Scotlandβs NHS funding depends on Westminsterβs spending decisions.
How the Union limits Scotlandβs NHS & why Independence is the answer.Scotlandβs NHS is technically devolved, so why does Westminster still control major aspects of it?
How would Independence improve our healthcare system? Letβs breakdown the facts π #scottishindependence #nhs
