Ahhhh. Looks awesome!!
Im just not the biggest fan of painting so once the models done thats good for me. But looking at them I feel I should do the bases. And I've got some Old World stuff built/to be built that I want to do the bases.
So thinking painting then bases is the way forward as keeping it simple!
Then i realised if it was then the whole thing was massive and a titan!!
This is awesome! First glance thought the shield was a Falcon!!

Finally getting round to making a start on this and very much looking forward to it!!

OK thanks. That's helpful. So for the stuff I've painted I'll do the bases carefully and for the stuff thats only built Ill do the bases and then undercoat it all! Definitely not a seperate sub assembly person!
Erm the base itself?!
Its essentially the Leviathan box of painted models and then built tomb kings.
Very much simple bases is the plan!!
So use technical paints on painted models and then use the same on unpainted and then undercoat as needed?
Beginner question but bases - best to do after painting models, before or at same time?
I've got painted tyranids and Ultramarines that need bases as well as building Tomb Kings and Lizardmen that will need bases doing and can't work out the easiest way to do them!!

Leviathan as it got my son into it (he wanted the bugs!!) and he now regularly beats me!!
Plus it had the amazing Screamer-Killer model!!

Redemptor arms on Ballistus body
Don't have room to store a second dreadnought so built the redemptor arms and they fit the Ballistus body so simple solution!!

Love my, sadly still unpainted, hellblasters!! Against my sons Tyranids they are one of the few units I can rely on to do some damage!
Ah its an awesome pose!! I did my Salamanders about 10 years ago when I hated painting and went with a dark green and at some point would like to go back to them and try and redo them!
The Sergeant is amazing - is it a conversion?! Love the green you've gone with too.
Oh they are gorgeous!!
This would absolutely terrify my wife!! ๐๐
Unfortunately neither happened as work got in the way! There's always tomorrow!!
So choices for later during the day are I can either build a Redemptor dreadnought or start putting together Lizardmen for The Old World!! Decisions, decisions, decisions!!

Tunnock in custard
Utterly glorious!!
Its utterly glorious!
A pack of tunnocks used to eat a tin of custard is an absolute joy!!
My favourite of all the Asterix books!
5 authors by whom Iโve read at least 5 books:
Dan Abnett
Joe Abercrombie
Graham McNeil
Sebastian De Castell
James Swallow
Got a dvd release (maybe a rerelease) a good few years back and is now discontinued but you can find it on ebay I think!
The Erroyl Flynn "The Adventures of Robin Hood" is in my top 5 films of all time!
Maid Marian absolutely loved as a kid along with Prince of Thieves, Disney Robin Hood and the BBC1 TV show!
Going to tie them into my Tomb King by using Kroxigor as Ushabti. Or at least thats the idea!!
And yeah have got the Seraphon units all ready to build the army.
Oh that looks awesome!!
Tomb Kings warriors
Skeleton horsemen
Tomb King
I've gone for Tomb Kings using Soulblight Gravelords and then Lizardmen. Got 1k lists for each set out and the Tomb Kings are built. So thats this year's project and adding bits to Ultramarines and Tyranids.
Ah do like High Elves!!
Will definitely keep tuned
