Because it's a RANDOM word generator!

Putting aside the theft/world burning ethical issues, LLMs are designed to pick the likelihood of a word based on the words that came before it. They're not designed to BE accurate but to SOUND accurate.

I procrastinated yesterday by writing something I wish somebody had taught me.

Daicon 4 is a truly labor of love, and an example of ingenuity and not needing money to create something beloved. The broke students had to pool money to buy 1 animation cel, then ended up cutting up vinyl shower curtains to use instead. The frames would start sticking to eachother as it was filmed.

Really appreciate this. I get horrible phone anxiety and I have opened 5calls plenty of times and lost my nerve at the thought of speaking to a real person. And seeing people yell about "doing nothing makes you complicit!!!!!" honestly just makes it a thousand times worse while piling on guilt.

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
