Ok so since we don't know how Astalor and Kael'thas met, only that he was advisor to Kael'thas at the time of the scourge invasion I'm headcanoning that they're a similar age and when Astalor was young he was picked to be an attendant and decoy for Kael'thas because of his resemblance to him (like a padmé sabé situation) And that's also why he has a kind of wonky attitude to morality and death and etc because he was raised with the understanding his life was going to be made forfeit if it saved Kael'thas And why Lor'themar would mistake him as being unassuming and soft spoken in BotH (he'd had training to appear that way in public to not make scene and to not be noticed so no one picked up on it)

And why he keeps saying in Prey that he's doing what he's doing to save Silvermoon (because if you'd been raised to be the shadow of a prince you might take on some of his responsibilities subconsciously and still feel a weird sense of misplaced duty centuries later)

Ok just because it’s a headcanon based on nothing except them both being blond it doesn’t mean I can’t overthink it

Apprentice magisters in the library giggling over something and they have to hand it over to the librarian because they're disturbing people, and the librarian is just baffled why they were so amused by a rubiks cube. Gets it out of the confiscation drawer to solve it during a quiet minute and discovers it's not actually a rubiks cube at all, but a rombrics cube. (Enchanted to make it that every side shows lewd artwork of them when solved)
