I just received a fantastic gift from a friend – thank you so much, Beautiful Bits!
Super Fanger is a fast-paced tag game for one or two players. There are unlockable levels and characters. I'm really looking forward to trying it out with friends.

One of the Discord peeps let me know that The Secret of Monkey Island is being ported to the SNES by making use of MSU-1. github.com/astrobleem/S...
Did you ever try to do something on the SNES?
I know you worked on many systems, but that one seems to be a tough nut for many homebrewers ...
New blog post:
A wordy overview and retrospective on the homebrew SNES game engine I used for my 2025 SNESDEV game jam submission.

Time Pilot was one of the first games I played as a kid on the C64. Sadly it was never ported to the SNES.
That's what I thought until someone told me there is an hidden Minigame version in Ganbare Goemon 4.
Nokia3310 and I did a hack to change it into a standalone game.

While developing the ArkanEdit-Editor we did a little hack of the game ourselves.
Arkanoid Reblocked has 38 levels, moderate difficulty and a playtime of roundabout 1 hour. Casual fun for 1 or 2 players.

A friend and I released an editor for the SNES game Puzzle Bobble aka Bust a Move.
With the Bubble Buster Editor you can change all level data and it works with all versions (PAL, US, JAP).

A friend and I developed ArkanEdit – an editor for the SNES game Arkanoid – Doh it again.
It's easy to use and lets you edit almost every aspect of the game.
Have fun with it and create new challenges!

Since I'm liking X less and less, I'll be gradually switching to Bluesky.
I'll post some of my older projects here so they're also available on this account.
Thats a clever twist of the original - like the idea!
Where can I find the game?
Happy New Year, everybody :-)
Following the success of last year's Game Jam, there will be another SNESDEV Game Jam in the summer of 2026.
SNES homebrewers, get ready and prepare your tools for the next round!

Best new years resolution i've heard so far 👍
SNES needs some love from homebrewers.
40 years ago, Werner Flaschbier was released for the C64 and took schoolyards by storm.
Despite its simplicity, it glued us to the C64 for days and its difficulty level was legendary. As a small tribute to the good old days, I created this SNES version:
