I work in financial software development. Anytime a financial institution is doing a conversion to a new system, it is almost always done over a long holiday weekend. It allows time for the conversion and reconciliation of data, along with quick regression testing. This is all too convenient.

Don’t let anyone make you feel bad that a source of education, political resistance, and laughter was stripped from you under the guise of protection.
