There are signals from various sources that Russia knows it is going to lose in its illegal invasion of Ukraine. We must prevent Donald Trump from assisting Vladimir Putin any further with one of his bullshit deals. Keep the pressure on.

Police in Britain Repeatedly Declined to Investigate Epstein. Why?

Exclusive: The Metropolitan Police interviewed Virginia Giuffre 3 times after her lawyers handed them a dossier of evidence saying that she was trafficked to UK by Epstein and Maxwell, and made her have sex with Prince Andrew

But they did not launch an investigation

Putin hit The Trifecta.

1 )Sanctions lifted

2) US weapons meant for Ukraine went to the Middle East.

3) Huge profits in oil and gas, funds he'll use in the war of Ukraine.

Yes. We will blame Trump for all of this. Not Jared, not Steve, not Pete.

Trump.

Because he is the President.

He is the commander-in-chief.

Therefore the responsibility is his and his alone.

So, Putin is providing intelligence to Iran to target American soldiers, ships, etc, and Vlady's puppet, Mr. Trump, is only responding by easing sanctions on Russia?

Not great when the only people in the free world who believe and trust Vladimir Putin’s word on critical things despite all evidence to the contrary are currently running the government of the United States.

This Bill does not touch on electoral reform however. I'm calling on the Government to establish an electoral commission to look at alternatives to First Past the Post.

People should be able to vote for the best person, not the best guess. (3/3)

During the Second Reading of the Representation of the People Bill, MP after MP got up to point out what's missing from it: fixing the voting system.

The problems with FPTP can no longer be ignored - and neither can the growing calls for PR. πŸ“£

Here are just a few highlights:

05.03.2026 20:09 πŸ‘ 218 πŸ” 116 πŸ’¬ 4 πŸ“Œ 6

With 4 parties and in some areas 5 parties, candidates are going to get elected where the more than two thirds of the voters have waisted their vote.
Voting is becoming like gambling now where people weigh up the odds and people vote negatively to keep someone from winning.

It will cause unnecessary chaos and destabilise politics.

It's too complicated, people wouldn't know how to vote.

It's not a priority right now.

Those were some of the arguments used over a century ago against giving women the vote. Sounds familiar?

It’s time to end Britain’s first-past-the-post election lottery The Gorton and Denton by-election confirmed just how capricious our electoral system has become

πŸ’₯ Professor Vernon Bogdanor writes for @financialtimes.com:

"An electoral system should do two things: ensure that the majority rules and that significant minorities are adequately represented.

First Past the Post achieves neither."
