Women's volleyball high-fiving in the 60s. Fantastic Four could've been fans. Breathless (1960) depicts high-fiving. Sgt. Bilko regularly high-fived on The Phil Silvers Show 1955-1959. Burke, Baker, Magic & others popularized it, but it lived underground for decades.

Rick Townsend defeated Alex Parrish in the finals of the first officially sanctioned Magic tournament, R/B Aggro taking down G/W Midrange at GenCon 1993. Card availability was extremely tight, as Magic was just launched that weekend and supplies were extremely limited.
