Saw a Lynx today.
They are around "plenty" - we see frequently deer they have killed but I have never seen one before. Pretty big too.
No photos sorry.

It's like a certain CEO of an electric car, eh Ai, eh robotics, company.
Both have this in common:
Say what you feel like. True or untrue - no difference in the synopsis firing. No difference in the process. Just say what you like.
Predictions few years back were something like 9 million cars sold in 2025 and 18 million in 2026. ๐
I said on my long since dead twitter account that I would be surprised if they ever hit 2.5 million annual sales and very surprised of 3 million. Bulls thought I was crazy.
Peak: 2023, 1.8 million
My point is that Tesla was always about narrative, they burned investor money like crazy, during covid they gained massive market share jump when everyone else was struggling with parts - and prices of cars were nuts.
=Only period when they ever made money with decent margin.
Look:
Elon deserves credit for pushing for more modern user experience - his genius myth helped visibility.
But up to 2019 Nissan Leaf was globally most sold EV, 1st BYD EV in 2009, VW and BMW had big EV projects in 2010s, VW saw 2019 as the year EVs made economical sense. Elon never cared about that.
Yes it is a joke. When your sales are down 30-50% the factories become money furnaces. There is a reason why all car companies trade at < 10 P/E ratio.
It's a cyclical and very capital heavy business - and if you introduce no models...

What exactly "could have Elon been"? The "visonary" was always the same person as the lying scammer.
Is this based on something?
I really think the insurance is one of the few truly impartial indicators.
I don't think that was ever enforced and probably dropped as a clause too. Plenty of used for sale.
๐บ๐ธโ๏ธ๐บ๐ฆ The United States joined Russia, China, and โNiger on Thursday in opposing a resolution adopted by the U.N. nuclear watchdog's board denouncing attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure as a threat to nuclear safety, - Reuters
If Donald asks Zelensky for anti drone systems, he better wear a suit, ask nicely and say thank you.
it's been obvious since forever - and I have been screaming it into the void, also since forever:
System needing less intervention doesn't make it safer. It makes supervising it harder and harder and risk of catastrophic outcomes will not go away - might actually go up.
is claude the more evil ones now- did I miss something. I canceled my openAI subscription an hour ago to switch to claude...
the retired folk at our rural gas station cafe had the same exact analysis!
screen capture of email. "Your ChatGPT Plus subscription will not renew and will be canceled, but is still available until the end of your billing period."
I was already spending way too much time correcting ChatGPT as much as I was receiving useful iformation from it. But the killa-MLM was a good final straw.
Will try Claude for a bit - at least it is more likely to say that it doesn't know.
Google (paid gemini) was quite disappointing.
Oh come on.
So you claim the number is not correct because... You say so.
China has had pretty clear plan for a long time (which got plenty of criticism for new coal power) where renewables are growing a lot and eventually phasing out/reducing fossils.
Their solar ramp is easily verifiable.
My dad used to relay a story of how there had been news on radio during the WWII that Adolf will take USSR in 3 weeks.
Older guy living on the farm had said: "hmm... Well, it takes a month by train."
Dictators seem to be rather optimistic. And circle themselves with yes men who avoid negatives.
๐It is absolutely insane that two old power-hungry, greedy, lawless men are in the process of killing countless hundreds and thousands of innocent human beings, and destabilizing a world they won't be living in a decade from now, and not EVERYBODY is speaking out loudly against this.
So they are paying for the right to call it a cybercab? ๐
In todayโs Vatnik Soup, Iโll introduce an American national security policy professional and the current under secretary of defense for policy, Elbridge Colby (@ElbridgeColby). Heโs best-known for fighting with cartoon dogs online and for halting military aid to Ukraine.

Thank you for your service!
I bought an LG TV recently. Good reviews, good specs for me. Unbearable user experience. The home page is full of videos playing, some LG's own streaming store, bunch of apps I don't want (some of which can't be removed), accidental click will start installing apps. And the UI frequently stalls. ๐คฎ
I recently discussed with buddies that I want to see companies sell quality flagship products by advertising features they Do NOT have.
Buy our fridge Coolmax4000, it has no wifi or internet and no app. Buy our car, EVpro6 there is no online store in it... And so on.
Meanwhile iPhone designer at Ferrari.

It's also cost (not maybe the vents). Buttons and wiring add design and manufacturing cost more than a stupid menu in the tablet.
And of course agree with you. With physical buttons at most you need a glance of fractions if seconds. On screen you need continued attention.
I looked into it now, it looks like the car has 2 stalks so it MUST have wipers on a stalk. Maybe it's something like intermittent wiper frequency/sensitivity.
In the small EV Volvo (Geely) this setting is behind 3 clicks on screen. Same for fog light {exterior->lighting->fog lights}
No on brand
a review of Mazda 6, actually pretty handsome car.
There was picture of the steering wheel with caption (paraphrased):
"area on the wheel can be programmed for your favorite functions. It's for example quite handy to use wipers from here vs the screen".
F U Mazda. Lost all interest right there.
INXS has stayed on playlists through the decades.
I never got into Oasis while many friends, who seem to know more about music than me, did.
I did listen to them recently and be it nostalgia I did enjoy it.
But totally different deal than INXS.
Indeed it is weird that hundreds of Teslas burn with no recalls. Mercedes recalled million cars for couple of dozen fires.
who knows. Maybe itโs rather quiet at the โgiga-Berlinโ. Korea has posted some record numbers recently (for tesla and not substantial).
