Quite. I assume it's common knowledge that it's illegal to move if there's a cat on your lap.
@nanny-ogg
Two fish in a tank. One says to the other 'How do you drive this thing?' Most pics I stole from internet searches - I give credit if I know the source. Please don't beg me for money. I don't reply to DMs from people I don't know.

Looks wonderful. Where is it?
Curious. I can't see that rectangle in the OP, just in your picture.
The image looks a bit strange, I'll grant you, but that is what those in the know refer to as a crew-cab pickup. The extra door handles are for the rear passengers.
Aye; whatever country we're in, we're just the statues, voting for the pigeon we hope will rain the least shit on us...
That fly won't bother anyone now.
I suspect having body parts that jiggle when they're not supposed to might make it a bit difficult/undignified/dangerous too. I think I'll be giving it a miss...
You're fitter than me then; my efforts would more likely end in hospital π
Love of money, greed, power, control - these things lurk at the bottom of every human conflict.
I agree humans are their slaves/worshipper already; but if they grow opposable thumbs, everything on Earth will become their plaything π
Aye, I feel your pain; my ankles still haven't recovered from the several times I watched it π
So true - especially the part where we know bloody well we'll never get used to it, but we like to believe we can, just for a second π

I decided the opposite of doomscrolling must be moodscrolling.
This morning, this appeared; Zaouli dancing, from the Ivory Coast - the most awesome moves I've ever seen π²π

A rare political moment for me, but it's so interesting I had to share.
I'm betting there are people in that room who are hearing the hard truth about the situation in Iran for the first time:

Cat language and culture is very different from human; they show affection in unexpected ways. Cats don't have to be making physical contact, or 'speaking' to reinforce social bonds; the act of sleeping, or relaxing in the same room as us is a sign your cat feels comfortable, safe and loved ππ»
The Queen don't half look young on those notes π
OMG is that an Atari games console on the left?
I had one of those when they were all shiny and new!
After that, I got a ZX81 with a whole 1KB RAM, which plugged into the back of the computer, and was the size of a fag packet.
Happy days π
That man doesn't represent the vast majority of Canadians, who seem like perfectly nice people to me.
I do have a soft spot for Vikings though - even if they DID spend the fall of the Roman empire sacking the British coast, pillaging, marauding, and generally making a nuisance of themselves π
What's the opposite of doomscrolling?
I'm doing it now π

Top tip - I'll give it a go π
Aye. Just right for an encounter of the turd kind.
Aye, I've been there, Natural history, Science museums etc, but not for some time now. I'd far rather explore London using the hols in the ground, as opposed to taxis - I find busy urban areas a bit stressful. I heard there's a campsite near an entrance to the Underground - I'd be up for that π

'Next time you're in London'... πππ€£
That said, I'm tempted to endure London just so I can do that π
