They were games that I played upon their launch but over time just got bored with them so I stopped playing,,, but then I see them on my phone and got nostalgic and thought “hmmm,,, lemme try playing again!” And my reality gets crushed because of new mechs or systems they added

I hate when you stop playing a mobile gacha for a long while and then decide to get back in but everything is too convoluted now and difficult because they added new characters that massively outscale your best (looking at you FE heroes and FF brave exvius)

My closing thoughts is just: either you stand for something or you don’t. And if you can’t stand when something small happens, then don’t stand when you think it’s ok to join in on the cacophony because everyone you follow suddenly is. It’s performative.
