Here is a four page magazine ad for Dragon Slayer, one of Nihon Falcom's earliest RPGs that later spawned a whole family of loosely connected franchises. I really enjoy how the protagonist is portrayed as a weird little gremlin in these ads, compared to the macho man featured on the box art.

Ogre Battle is turning 33! It's a very unusal game with unique mechanics that take some time to get used to. Especially critics' reaction to the battle-system that only allows for indirect control, is often quite telling about people's willingness to engage with unusual design-elements! I love it!
