When a star explodes
NGC 7469 galaxy captured by James Webb with a massive black hole in the center thatβs in the process of consuming material.
Good vibes
Too late to explore the Earth, too early to explore the universe.
Actually you can see a galaxy with the naked eye if you go to a rural area. Our galaxy π and it looks similar to this but without those dark clouds.
If we were closer to it we would just see a bright haze from all the stars. None of the cloud like features.
A zoom in from a large part of the night sky to The Andromeda galaxy. Those stars might seem dense, but actually the distance between them is similar to the distance we have to our neighboring stars.

Based on the starβs size, brightness and the distance of the planet from it, we can simulate how a sunset looks like from the surface of the planet.
What sunsets would look like on extraterrestrial planets we discovered.
That is the M51 galaxy captured by James Webb telescope. The visuals have been enhanced for things that arenβt visible to the naked eye like dust.
Still craving an explanation how that would happen π
π
Earth millions of years ago was like a whole different planet with different continents, temperature, climates and atmosphere, and amazing creatures like dinosaurs walked around. If we didnβt know dinosaurs existed, they would be as alien and absurd as anything sci-fi writers could come up with. π

Doubt is part of science, but at some point everyone must base their other theories on solid grounds. Space pictures, especially of nebulae are often colored to best represent the details that canβt be seen with the naked eye. Like dimly lit dust. Galaxies can be easily captured by home telescopes.
Some in my last map post had trouble reading the more detailed map. Just fly in the general direction of the Orion Spur if you want to come home.
A clear map to orient yourself while flying in your spaceship.
The NASA website is a good bet. The waiting list for Webb time is really long
Andromeda galaxy ultra HQ
Trillions of stars. Trillions of galaxies.
James Webb Telescope is a whole other ballgame. Canβt wait for more amazing pictures that I will be sharing here π
But there is a lot above it all. bsky.app/profile/grzy...
My favorite spot π
Master Skywalker! Welcome π

Welcome lovely new followers! Take a seat and relax and forget all your problems, wondering what could be out there. π
The details are 100% real from a real space telescope. The colors might not always be exact in space pictures, especially in nebulae, but scientists color them to the best of their abilities to most accurately represent things, that wouldnβt be visible to the human eye. Like dust that isnβt lit.
Weβll need warp drive first π weβll cross that bridge when we come to it.
We are in a similar galaxy right now, as one of those microscopic dots.
