We added a new family member! This is Remy, a one-year-old boxer. He is very smart, but also quite silly and derpy, so he’s settling in beautifully with our family ❤️

Kiddo is getting his braces re-wired this morning. He always charms everyone at the office by showing off how much he knows. Today, he’s talking about homophones and giving lots of examples. I’m always impressed by how well he handles himself.

Thomas has been fascinated by Rubik’s cubes since age 4. We have several in our house, and I can reliably solve them up to this point - the first and second layers are solved, and the yellow side solved. I can never remember the next steps, though, without guidance. Maybe someday that will change.
I didn’t read this properly at first and was like “Earring Chips Ahoy? These look more like rainbow Doritos to me…” Then I reread and it clicked. 🤣❤️

I did some adulting today. I called doctors to verify upcoming appointments and update insurance information. And I finished this calendar page in my journal. It feels good to cross things off a list.

I turn my head and he runs to the other end of the store. Folks behind us *bust out* laughing, and I pay for my items. I explained he’d just had ice cream, hence the “zoomies.” Thomas came back, and we took our items and left.

Folks chuckled, and the person at the counter remarked what a good job he did. He then said “And THIS is my dramatic exit!”
And he points and yells, “WHAT’S THAT?!”
It has been a minute since we’ve shared a Diary of Kiddo post, but tonight was funny.
He and I had just finished eating some ice cream, and we were waiting in line at Sheetz. When it was our turn, he made a leap from his spot to the counter. He grinned and said, “THAT was my dramatic entrance!”
