Over the weekend, HfHR Action volunteers in New York met with David Orkin at a meet and greet organized by DRUM Beats NYC. Our members asked about how Orkin, who is running for #NewYorkAssembly District 38, will work with progressive Hindus to fight Hindu nationalism and all forms of bigotry.

And we hope to see more progressive politicians who will work with Hindu Americans to combat xenophobia, Islamophobia, casteism, authoritarianism, and white Christian nationalism. There's a lot to fight, but with fearless and joyful leaders, we can win.
