I found a book club omnibus of the Peter books and the Jinian books, but I don't know if there was one for the Mavin books. I had to get the trade paperbacks for those.

All 9. I looked and looked but eventually was able to get the Mavin books via AbeBooks. (I just wanted reading copies, nothing fancy.)

Yeah I'm pretty sure you did. I read at least one of the sequels too.

(Speaking of Tepper, I finally managed to acquire all the True Game books, which took a while.)

I liked it the first time I read it (in college? That was a long time ago) but when I went to reread it a couple years ago... yeah, not great. It was the priest story that had stuck with me but I'd forgotten how annoying many other parts were.

Tongue is great and can be prepared so many ways! Lengua tacos are a good way to try it.

With my cat, we would play with feather toy, then give her a high value treat to eat while we hid it. Then she would want to sleep because it was like she was hunting, got to eat, and then it was nappy noodle time.
