Arlen did start to have some growing suspicions with Solas the more time passed throughout the inquisition, but he shrugged it off and still considered him a great friend and mentor.
Solas guided him through things pertaining to ancient elven culture and Arlen enjoyed finding and learning about artifacts and glyphs. Arlen, despite being born in the Free Marches and growing up with the Dalish never connected with it because he was always seen as an outsider or "city elf"
Arlen's relationship with Solas is something. Solas often found Arlen to be obnoxious and immature and Arlen thought Solas was just some elvish snob, a little too fixated on the past and the fade. Despite this, Arlen had a lot of respect for Solas (even if he didn't really show it much).
Arlen has a few big ones that really affected him. He made a deal with a Venatori agent (a blood mage) in Ostwick pre-conclave. Then during the inquisition he started off as an awful leader and inquisitor, and sent Cullen's troops to Clan Lavellan. Lastly, trusting Solas despite his suspicions.

Arlen wraps things up in the south pretty quickly and gets a lead on Solas' whereaouts that brought him to Tevinter 2 years after the inquisition disbanded anyway which led to him just forcefully moving in (so long as he laid low and was kept a secret). 💚
Dorian leaving for Tevinter took its toll on Arlen. He was quite passive aggressive for some time in their calls. Sera tried to get him to break up with him even, but he couldn't deny that Dorian was still and always will be his everything.

Edwin is a Shadow Dragon that picks Treviso. He knows Minrathous has the means of defending itself at least long enough for him to get there, or so he thought. In my canon Edwin's father, Giannis is responsible for the death of Archon Radonis and the raid on the Shadow Dragon hideout.

Edwin works in ranged and close combat and wears robes with fireproof fabric and leathers. He'll wear light plate armors to bigger missions.
