That would be telling... π

Lies!
Maybe she wants to know if the friends in the rectangle have treats...
Now I'm pining for the ones my Babcia would make! I have a feeling someone is going to be nagging me to try making some, since half of me should be capable, in theory...
Nation run by idiots acts like a nation run by idiots.
They exist.
I like it!
Oh mine was at least mostly grey with some red bits, some slopes and a trans-yellow canopy because that was the closer than either trans-green or blue. But yeah, somewhat chunkier than any official model π
I was proud enough of it to hang it from my lampshade for a while, though.
I am quite convinced I could eat a whole one. Though that probably says as much about me as it does the tiramisu...
Way to go, Gonzo! You deserve every single one us 'bongos β€οΈ
Here's to the next 50k!
As I recall, mine wasn't bad, considering the parts I had available, but it was a looong time ago π
I wouldn't be surprised if the theme came into existence because of Star Wars. I'd been thinking for years that Lego and Star Wars would be the perfect combination, 'cos I used to build stuff like X-Wings and lightsaber hilts myself.
You're welcome! Another one you can thank John Peel for introducing to me, way-back-when.
It looks like that gets a couple of votes, at least, and it is an idea that's been rattling around in my brain for a while... Technically, 6970-1 the Beta Command Base is the oldest space set I have but I inherited that from a friend. Not to say I'd miss it out, of course π
They did do the Blacktron Renegade last year, and Majisto's Magical Workshop a bit ago, but yeah, more would be nice. Reminds me I want to give some of my classic space sets the treatment. I guess I have to do the 6950-1 Mobile Rocket Transport first, since I got that was my first space set.
Just as with the evangelical so-called christians happy to use him to bring about their armageddon, they will accept any evil so long as it serves their agenda.
Hello, Alice! Lovely to meet you β€οΈ
Something something same picture...
See also the fake harbours built during the second small disagreement, among many ruses we employed to trick German forces.
It would not surprise me at all. There's a lot of money in exploitation of the incarcerated.
We each try to do the best we can, where we can.
I am sadly all too well aware of the sundry lies, misdeeds and atrocities the U.S. has perpetrated, and the part my own country, the U.K., has played. The seeds that begat this poisoned tree were sown much further back than 1982.
Shoutout to the idiot who lost their glasses while bed-making, found them and, two minutes later, lost them again.
The idiot being me, of course. Finally found them again, under a stack of pillows, and quite pointedly said aloud "Put them on your stupid head this time!" How do I live in this brain?
I wonder if being either side of the North Sea might have something to do with it? That said, I'm not on the coast, so... Maybe Yorkshire just likes to rain on its citizens because we exist π€·.
Ah yes, False Spring, lol. Just about all of January and February it rained. We had a few warmish days, this last week, but now it's back to standard Yorkshire weather, i.e. wet and windy. Dry was nice while it lasted.
FYI: Follow-farmers get blocked. I will not auto-follow back. Not here for numbers. Not a US citizen. I am opinionated. I sometimes like/make salty comments on US politics as it has a large blast radius. If you follow me just for that and not the fun stuff I usually post, please: don't bother.
We really should be calling these "detention facilities" what they are: concentration camps.
I'm surprised his eyes didn't start rotating as the stuck gears tried to turn in his head.
It seems he has uncles named Mark and Wayne, so his parents very imaginatively simply smushed the two names together. I guess we know where he gets his incredible smarts from.
I'm not even a US citizen and I'm tired of your bullshit.
