Trying to tell what is a prank/joke on April Fool's is sometimes like trying to talk while being high on laughing gas---it's a fucking conundrum, man. This may just be because I'm autistic, but If someone said "I don't wanna be friends anymore" as a prank I'd actually tweak out and think it's real

I forgot that today was April Fool's Day: honestly, I really hate April Fool's, since sometimes either, one, people take it too far, two, people do really questionable shit without thinking of the ramifications of doing so, or how it will effect other people.

i think most april fools jokes are sort of stupid in the sense that they're always either super invasive or mildly annoying, but i've always subscribed to the notion that pranks and jokes don't have to be harmful or bothersome to be funny.
