This is me taking one of my favourite mountain shots with the moon right above the peaks. Published sometime back on my profile. I literally noticed it when going downhill and pulled on the side to capture it. Luckily ot wasn’t too busy for a few moments.

Another great work of yours. For me, the three distinctly interesting parts of this photograph work so well together in how you composed it: the foreground grass, the barn, and the magnificent mountain range in the far background. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me.

I know, I know… in most cases I cut the bottom for some test strips indeed… but then sometimes I am also romanticising about framing an entire print in a vertical frame. I ended up cutting the bottom of this print anyway… looks great in square, even though it’s a rather small 8x8 inch work.

This is it! Skiing with a camera. I only do downhill skiing with my Hass in some locations, but cross-country skiing opens up a lot more opportunities!

Thank you, Peter. I was really hoping to capture this and glad you noticed it! The trees were covered with snow, the foggy clouds were low, and I rushed to find a good spot to capture this scene. It was actually gone soon after this shot.

I’d happily outsource tidying up and maintaining my digital archives in good shape.

I took my Hasselblad 500 C/M outfit and a few rolls of Ilford Delta film on a hike to Rifugio Locatelli in the Dolomites.
It was a 1000-meter elevation gain hike in wintry conditions. Tre Cime di Lavaredo view from the cave made it worth it.

I’m back in the Dolomites with my 500 C/M. Today at the Tre Cime di Lavaredo was quite cold and sunny. Can’t wait to develop and print some negatives from this location. I wish I had more time and less weight, so I could go further.

Price to quality ratio of this camera is very good. I got some of my favourite photos captured with it. The negs are sharp and have a nice contrast. It is small, quick and easy to operate, with an accurate light meter built in. I wish I hadn’t sold mine. Anything to add @peterdurst.bsky.social ?
