sure it was. i got mine at 18 in 1972 and promptly burned it. Tricky dick nixon ended the war shortly thereafter and i also had a pretty high lottery number, but i never would have volunteered or been forced into a war with Vietnam. Canada was looking good, and still does.

living in AZ, we do not need heat anymore in winter. when we moved here 40 years ago, there were some nights when we did turn on heat briefly, or lit a wood fire a few times at xmas. At end of that a Feb past, we already had 90F+ days in a week. But we pay badly in summer for A/C. climate change.
